Within the framework of the “DATA. Data for Accountable and Transparent Action” program, the implementation of small grant initiatives was launched in the regions of Tavush, Gegharkunik, Lori, Shirak, Syunik, and Vayots Dzor. The projects are implemented by the youth who took part in the “Youth Participation in Policy Development Processes” three-day training. The program has given young people the opportunity to put into practice the capacities, knowledge, and skills acquired as a result of the training.

The “Youth Power” community project is implemented in Noyemberyan community of Tavush region by Mane Ohanyan. The goal of the project is to ensure equal opportunities and participation of local residents in local self-government by strengthening the capacity of young people.

Within the framework of the project, two-day training on “How to influence on the decision-making process, types and means of influence” was organized for young people aged 14-18 in Noyemberyan community. The course was conducted by Vahe Khachikyan. Participants were trained on decision-making processes, advocacy planning, and civic participation. Thanks to the theoretical presentations of the topics and practical works, the participants strengthened their knowledge and abilities. Within the framework of the program, surveys will be conducted in the community, a package of proposals will be prepared, which will be presented to the local self-governments for discussion and solution.
