On March 15, 2023, a regular meeting of the “Tavush Political Club” was held in Dilijan, regarding the state policy in the field of public education, newly introduced concepts, ability-based learning, the difficulties of fully integrating new educational standards and the challenges of schools.
The guest speakers of the meeting were Artashes Torosyan, director of the “National Center for Education Development and Innovations” (NCEDI Foundation), and Serine Avetisyan, an expert on the organization of public education of the World Bank.
Principals, methodologists, and teachers from 7 schools of Dilijan consolidated community participated in the meeting.
The “Political Club of Tavush” program is implemented by the “Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan” NGO within the framework of the “Creation of Political Clubs in the Border Regions of Armenia” program implemented by the Caucasus Institute.
The project is implemented with the support of the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
