In cooperation with Dilijan Municipality and ” Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan ” NGO, within the framework of the “Accountable Community, Aware Citizens” grant program were implemented informational seminars, launched in Teghut, Haghartsin, Khachardzan, Aghavnavank, Gosh and Hovk settlements of Dilijan enlarged community.
The aim is to introduce the locals to the possibilities of the official website of Dilijan Municipality (www.dilijancity.am), the tools for submitting applications or proposals online and other services in COVID-19 conditions.
www.dilijancity.am Community Government Information System as a database was submitted by the coach, as well as its usefulness, Council of Elders meeting procedures, already updated “Events Calendar” section, online applications, complaints, suggestions service, which especially in current pandemic conditions, is extremely important for providing the municipality-resident long-distance communication.
The locals mentioned that the initiative of the awareness was important for them, as they have been introduced to all the procedures for resolving applications quickly, without spending time and leaving their place, in terms of restricting social contacts in the conditions of COVID-19.
The program “Accountable community, Aware citizen” is held within the framework of project “Innovation for Change_ (I4C) Armenia”, which is conducted by “Partnership and Teaching” NGO. The latter is funded by TIDES center and USAID.
The aim of the program is to promote locals’ activity and involvement by investing accountability system of local non-governmental bodies and non-governmental organizations.
