On December 15, a thematic discussion named “CSO – LG: Communication Opportunities and Existing Cooperation Potential in Dilijan” was organized by YCCD NGO within the framework of the program “DATA. Data for Accountable and Transparent Action”.
The discussion aimed to discuss the efficiency of the public sector, the possibilities of cooperation in decision-making processes and emergencies together with the representatives of non-governmental organizations, including the leadership of the enlarged community of Dilijan, together with the members of the Council of Elders.
During the meeting, reference was made to the improvement of the existing mechanisms, the priority issues were raised, as well as the suggestions made by the participants were collected in order to further strengthen the communication.
12 members of the Council of Elders from 3 political factions, local government officials, 12 representatives of 9 non-governmental organizations took part in the discussion.
