On June 10-11, a separate stage of the training “Strategic Planning of Organization” has been implemented in Dilijan within the framework of program “Accountable Community, Aware citizen”, which was attended by 12 employees of Dilijan Municipality educational, cultural, library, museum and sports institutions.
The stages of planning, advantages and limits on how to learn and define the needs and their toolbox of evaluation were presented at the training. Comprehensive reference was implemented to the definition of the problem, mission, principles and aim as well.
Through practical activities and applying gained theoretical knowledge, the participants worked on their introductory strategic plans, applying modern tools, as well as due to theoretical knowledge they defined their vision of institutions, mission, the needs, that need for providing services to community population. The aims and problems were also defined due to their measurable, accessible, and realistic features.
There were also presented the key activities and types of problems of planning.
During the next stages of the training, the participants will be introduced to the next steps of planning and will work on their annual plans.

The program “Accountable community, Aware citizen” is held within the framework of project “Innovation for change_ (I4C) Armenia”, which is conducted by “Partnership and Teaching” NGO. The latter is funded by TIDES center and USAID.
The aim of the program is to promote locals’ activity and involvement by investing accountability system of local self-governmental bodies and non-governmental organizations.
