On April 2, 2019, the opening of a renovated public bus stop with the possibility of free charging was held in Dilijan city, within the framework of Aware Society – Energy Efficient Community project.
The most inconsolable bus stop of the community was repaired and a solar panel with free charging was installed for the community residents within the framework of the project. The metal frame of the bus stop was repaired, the remnants of the previous roof were removed, and the metal parts were painted with new colors. Posters on “Energy efficiency” were placed in the area of the bus stop. A solar panel was installed, which produces energy. This was a message to people to evaluate and see the practical application of renewable energy in everyday life.
The bus stop was renovated by “Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan” NGO and “EcoPolicy” NGO in cooperation with Dilijan Municipality.
