Stories are the invisible threads that connect us. People’s experiences, emotions, and dreams come together when they are shared at the right time and in the right way.

The game “More Than One Story”, developed in the city of Simrishamn, Sweden, was created with a unique purpose: to give people the opportunity to share their stories and build bridges between one another

The Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO brought this wonderful idea to Armenia, translating it into Armenian and Georgian. The game is also available in Armenian on the website morethanonestory.org.

With this initiative, the YCCD NGO created an opportunity for more people to discover each other’s fascinating and educational stories, share experiences, and ultimately build strong interpersonal connections. These connections can help foster more cohesive communities, regardless of age, culture, or life experience.

The Journey of the Game Across Armenia’s Regions

The “More Than One Story” game traveled through 10 regions of Armenia with the YCCD NGO. Each meeting became a warm and sincere conversation, where people shared their life stories, interesting moments, and memories.

During one of the meetings, one of the participants shared their impressions:

“This game made us think about questions we had never discussed before. We began to get to know each other from a new perspective.”

Another participant mentioned:

“By giving freedom to our emotions, we tried to be more understandable to others. Participating in this game was also a great opportunity for self-discovery.”

The Distribution and Impact of the Game

The game has been made available to other NGOs, organizations, youth groups, and community leaders to expand its reach and generate a sustained impact.

Why is this initiative important?

In the modern world, where people are often disconnected from one another, such programs hold exceptional significance. They remind us of our shared humanity and foster understanding and unity.

By telling and listening to stories, we realize that although our paths may differ, our experiences and dreams have many similarities.

The “More Than One Story” card game reminds us that every story deserves to be told, and every voice deserves to be heard.

Our lives are not limited to just one story; we are all more than one story.

The Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO is proud to be the bearer of this idea, contributing to the creation of genuine and warm connections.

The “More Than One Story” sub-grant project is implemented within the framework of the “Youth in Action: Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development in Armenia” program.

The “Youth in Action: Youth Empowerment and Leadership Development in Armenia” program is a co-funded initiative by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), implemented in collaboration with World Vision Armenia (WVA), the Media Initiatives Center (MIC), and the Gyumri “Youth Initiatives Centre” (YIC).
