The 3rd meeting of the Dilijan Refugees’ Community Council was held in Dilijan.
Within the framework of the “Human Rights With and For Refugees” program, implemented by the Estonian Refugee Council with the support of the European Union, the 3rd meeting of the Dilijan Refugees’ Community Council took place on December 18 at the office of the Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO.
Overall, the meeting was dedicated to several issues related to refugees, in particular the educational opportunities provided to people displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2020 and 2023, the lack of information about programs implemented in various communities across the country, and possible ways to address this gap.
The Council members also discussed the criteria for submitting project proposals addressing various community issues, as well as technical details and the scale of such initiatives.

“Human Rights for and with Refugees” project is implemented with the support of the European Union by Democracy Development Foundation, Estonian Refugee Council, Coalition to Stop Violence Against Women, and Commit Global.

The project focuses on empowering refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh by providing essential knowledge about their rights, addressing vulnerabilities, and improving access to user-friendly resources on their entitlements and opportunities.
