About project

Since November 2023, the Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO has launched the “Women’s Entrepreneurship and Leadership Educational Camp” (WELL Camp) program, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and the Embassy of Estonia in Tbilisi.

The program was designed for women aged 18-29 from Dilijan consolidated community (Dilijan city and six neighboring villages) to develop their entrepreneurial and leadership skills, and enable them to establish or improve their business initiatives.

In the first month, the recruitment process was carried out, with 29 women applying, and 20 selected.

In December, the project’s kickoff meeting was held at the NGO’s office, where participants met the program trainers in person, listened to their inspiring speeches, and discovered their strengths and motivations for starting a business through engaging games.

After the event, the program’s online courses began, which the participating women attended with great interest and enthusiasm.

Inspired by their excitement, it was decided that, in addition to the planned courses, training in accounting, SMM (social media management), and computer literacy would also be organized for the women.

As part of the online sessions, participants also had the opportunity to meet successful female entrepreneurs, public figures, and women from various professional backgrounds.

During the mentoring sessions following the training, the women received answers to their professional questions and finalized their “Canvas” business models.

As part of the program, the Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO had the honor of hosting Estonia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Riina Kaljurand, at their office. During this meeting, the women presented their products and services, shared their achievements, expectations, and discussed the importance of the program in contributing to the community’s development.

The final phase of the WELL Camp program was an offline camp, during which participants prepared their presentations and refined their speeches.

At the closing event, an independent jury of successful female entrepreneurs and public figures was invited to evaluate the participants’ speeches and business plans. Estonia’s Deputy Ambassador, Peeter Pals, was also present at the event.

It was decided to grant grants to all 12 participating women who presented their business plans.

Thus, the participants who received a grant within the framework of the “Women’s Entrepreneurship and Leadership Educational Camp” (WELL Camp) implemented by the “Dilijan Youth Cooperation Center” NGO (YCCD) were:
