On December 09, 2020, more than 20 young people from Tavush, Shirak and Aragatsotn regions participated in a \u201cYouth After the War: Challenges, Needs, Solutions\u201d online discussion organized by Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan<\/em> NGO in the framework of Data for Accountable and Transparent Action<\/em> (DATA) program.<\/p>\n

Data for Accountable and Transparent<\/em> Action (DATA) program is implemented in partnership with Eurasia Partnership Foundation<\/em> (EPF), SOCIES Expert Centre<\/em> NGO (Socies), Boon TV Foundation<\/em> (Boon TV), Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan<\/em> NGO (YCCD) and Sose Women Issues<\/em> NGO (Sose).<\/p>\n

The aim of the discussion was to reveal the changes, expectations, challenges and solutions in youth daily life before and after the war of Artsakh, started on September 27, as well as, to reveal the needs of young people in the post-war period.<\/p>\n

During the discussion, the participants spoke on the role of young people in the pre-war and post-war period, the impact on their lifestyle, future plans, needs, and opportunities for young people to work with various governmental and non-governmental organizations.<\/p>\n

The participants exchanged opinions and ideas on what skills and abilities do the youth need in the current situation to maintain and strengthen their potential for the sake of their community and country development. They also mentioned that there is a need to redefining many universal values in the society, for which it is necessary to unite the youth and promote their participation in different spheres.<\/p>\n

Key opinions, observations and suggestions on the discussion agenda will help to make youth programs more targeted, effective, to work with more young people, and develop ways and methods that promote youth participation in various areas of life.<\/p>\n
