The visit brought together representatives from Eastern Partnership countries with the aim of exploring advanced approaches to youth participation, civic engagement, and democratic inclusion.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"1026\">The Study Visit was organized within the <em data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"697\">\u2018EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment\u2019 (EU4Y)<\/em> programme, co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as part of the BMZ project <em data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"987\">\u2018Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the delegation from Armenia in the visit were Laura Poghosyan, President of AlteraLab NGO, and Lusine Karapetyan, Board Member of the Union of Youth Organizations NGO.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;in_container&#8221; text_direction=&#8221;default&#8221;]\n<blockquote><p><strong>Learning from the Danish Experience<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221; text_direction=&#8221;default&#8221;]\n<p data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1314\">The programme offered a comprehensive insight into the Danish model of youth engagement, widely recognized for its strong institutional support, participatory culture, and effective collaboration between civil society and public authorities.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1425\">Participants had the opportunity to engage with a range of leading organizations and institutions, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"2080\">\n<li data-section-id=\"b3xvo3\" data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1588\"><strong data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1462\">The Danish Youth Council (DUF)<\/strong> \u2013 a national umbrella organization representing more than 70 youth organizations and actively advocating for youth interests;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1ng13s9\" data-start=\"1589\" data-end=\"1723\"><strong data-start=\"1591\" data-end=\"1642\">Youth Democracy House (Ungdommens Demokratihus)<\/strong> \u2013 an innovative civic space fostering youth dialogue, debate, and participation;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"a58ob0\" data-start=\"1724\" data-end=\"1849\"><strong data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"1748\">New Democracy Fund<\/strong> \u2013 supporting democratic resilience and civil society development in Eastern Neighbourhood countries;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1jt746r\" data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1988\"><strong data-start=\"1852\" data-end=\"1901\">SILBA \u2013 Initiative for Dialogue and Democracy<\/strong> \u2013 promoting civic engagement and intercultural dialogue through youth-led initiatives;<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1f0c37l\" data-start=\"1989\" data-end=\"2080\"><strong data-start=\"1991\" data-end=\"2015\">Crossing Borders NGO<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2024\" data-end=\"2065\">National Union of Students in Denmark<\/strong>, among others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2082\" data-end=\"2387\">These visits were complemented by meetings with the Youth Red Cross, the Copenhagen Youth Council, and the Danish Network of Local Youth Councils, offering a multi-level perspective on how youth participation is embedded in both national and local governance systems.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=&#8221;no-extra-padding&#8221;
