The course was conducted by Suren Deheryan, a journalist, founder and editor-in-chief of the explanatory media platform Ampop.am, as well as the president of the \u201cJournalists for the Future\u201d NGO, who has more than two decades of experience in the field of digital journalism, media management and education.<\/p>\n

During the course, participants received theoretical and practical knowledge on understanding the main types of disinformation and the goals of various manipulations, quick verification of digital content (images, videos, texts) and detection of emotional manipulations, \u201chate speech\u201d and bias in media discourse.<\/p>\n

The group exercises \u201cSpot the Difference\u201d and \u201cEasy Spreading of Fake News\u201d were particularly inspiring.
